I made an appointment today and went over during my lunch hour, took me few minutes to find a parking spot, and then went to the place, the place was pretty empty, took me literally under 5 minutes to get everything done (yes.. i actually timed it). So pretty good experience.

I was there this morning to make IDNYC! I made an appointment online and was scheduled to do application in person. When I first walked in to that door I was greeted by nice security lady. She said hello and very helpful. I didnt know where to go but she showed me the way. I give a thumbs up to that security guard. So I walked down the basement. I saw another security guy which he greeted me and told me have a sit.. The wait time wasn't that long! I waited about 15 minutes and that's about it. The lady who took me in was a nice lady. Asked if all the information was correct than take picture. She said it will take about 10 to 14 days to recieve the card. I don't know why this place has only two reviews but overall I didn't have any problems with them. It was easy to find them. I had no trouble finding the location. Oh yeah, I wonder why we cant take pictures... but I took few..

I came here to get a NYC ID card and brought all the necessary documents. However, one of the staff there refused to take my student loan statement as proof of address, even though it says on their website they accept loan statements. I argued with her until she motioned to the security guard that she was done with me. I turned to take the elevator back upstairs but the security guard told me to take the stairs and then followed me. When I reached the lobby and was about to leave, he tells the security guard at the front that I am now banned for being rude. I had to take the train there and the bus back home for nothing. I don't recommend coming here. It's obvious that the signs all over the place that prohibit recording and photo taking is to protect themselves and the undocumented immigrants that come in from the area. I don't mind them getting IDs but how can you refuse to give me one, esp. when I'm a U.S. citizen who has lived in Queens for almost three decades? I later went to the IDNYC at Flushing Library and was in and out of there within half an hour. It was easy, efficient, and I received my ID in the mail 2 weeks later.
