This man has been around in Jax for many years now and is a staple in the community. Any time I have any need for plastic's either getting something at a very reasonable price or recycling it, I goto him. I have a project going on which I need milk crates to store stuff in. Rather than just go heft some from the back of the quickie mart like most people would do, I decided to get them the proper way, so went to the recycling center to see what all he had. I tell you, if you have any projects going on and need containers, this is the man to talk to!! I ended up getting about 30 milk crates at a very reasonable price, and am going to be picking up some 55 gallon plastic drums probably tomorrow. If you cut these in half, they make awesome planters and last for many years. Cut them longways and just dig a very narrow trench and lay them in it, and they make wonderful planters for onions, garlic, strawberries, you name it. While I was there, there was another man picking up plastic pallets for their churches pumpkin patch event. The man who runs this is very involved with churches and other civic groups and is more than happy to help out in many ways like this. Yes it is a warehouse but if you need something plastic, chances are he might be able to help you. You are recycling, and supporting your local community business'. A win / win all around. Highly Recommended.
