It’s an oasis of delightful Asian and American favorite food and drink items. Sushi, sake, drinks, hibachi, stir fry, gyoza perfect, tempura shrimp like dream. When I’m in the lounge with plenty of elbow room, I don’t want to leave. The vibrant hibachi main dining area is a real great experience that never gets old and brings smiles to the big eyed patrons. Reminds me I want to hibachi more at least twice a week. Thank you Japanese Palace keep it rolling.

We enjoy meeting friends there and have a great time, went last night I usually get the Empors feast. With warm sake, it was the first time I didn't get it. Sake that is, having a good time with the couple we went with I didn't notice till after we left. Service was slow

We have heard nothing but rave reviews of the Japanese Palace so last night, on my Birthday we decided to treat the whole Family to dinner. Party of 5 at about 7:30pm and there was about a 15 minute wait. Not a big deal at all, we sat in the empty bar area and entertained ourselves. We were sat at the nearest table by the door and immediately our elderly waitress came up and asked what we wanted to drink. I exclaimed \it's my birthday and our first time here\ and she walked away.. Suspecting she was giving us a few minutes we waited and gave her our drink order when she returned. Similarly, when she came back with menus, I tried to explain we weren't quite sure how it all worked and it was our first time here and again, she set her things down and disappeared from the area.... Our chef was also an older gentleman, looked tired maybe and wasn't into the whole entertainment thing of the Hibachi that night I guess.. He made our food and immediately exited stage-right. No gongs, no birthday song or anything.. I guess my point is, on any regular occasion 30-50 a plate is never the norm for our family-ever and very rarely even on a special occasion! But for my family of 5, a nearly 200.00 tab with tax and tip, it was very disappointing to leave so dissatisfied, and on my Birthday no less.
