Good value, quality of clothing is good. But the atmosphere feels like they're struggling to stay relevant. However, nothing like K-Mart, where you wonder how they even stay open. I'm rooting for JCPenney

I can't tell you how much I hate shopping in JCPenney especially if trying to find a pair of jeans for a male, there's no order to the sizes and the sizes that you need they never have. Who wants to spend an hour looking for a pair of jeans, there should be an easier way to display your product. JCPenney if you want to survive in this cut-throat retail market you had better do a better job of buying the product that your consumer wants and by all means please have the size that your consumer will need everybody is not short!!!
Directions were very helpful. I felt like the GPS has to tell 40 seconds in advance where to take an exit or turn. Also don't just tell me go straight for 4 miles, but tell me whats my next step. That helps. It led me to Jcpenney correctly though. I had been there before so it was easy.
Sales are fantastic....employees are friendly and helpful. Great selection and good prices. Good shopping experience.
Great that it’s open during the remodel. Staff is too busy staying at the checkout counter, no one to assist on floor. You have to wait in line to ask questions or hunt someone down. The only place you get questions answered is in the jewelry department but only for the jewelry. This incident was months ago but wanted to let you know: Make sure to double check the type of gold/silver you get. I was given the guarantee I was buying 925 sterling silver and it ended up being plated. They didn’t want to return it because I had it sized. I asked twice before I bought the set because I can only wear 925 SS or White Gold. I break out on anything else. I even bought their care plan. The associate who old it to me was apologetic but the Manager from another department refused to return it. I had to sit there for over 30 minutes complaining and arguing why they should return it. He finally gets on the phone to the MOD and just then does he say he will return it with an attitude. The associate rings up the return for me, very nice lady. They have amazing deals on jewelry and it’s a wonderful place to shop if you have time to wait for things outside the jewelry department (there is ALWAYS associates there). We have since bought more jewelry but I now have to make sure the tags on the jewelry I buy here is the actually 925 SS or Gold. I have to inspect the engraving on them.
Going to close in 10 days. All items on sale for 70-90% discount . Good inventory almost all gone. No returns / no exchange . All sales final now
