This is a lovely historic building a Roanoke Virginia. My dad graduated high school from this building in 1943 that's how long it has been around. They have done a wonderful job of keeping this building up and repurposing it for many occasions. It is a delight to attend any function in this building including one of the best churches I've ever been to in my life Christ Our Redeemer that meets in the back in the Fitzpatrick Center.

I've been to this lovely establishment several times, but seeing the legendary Loretta Lynn was my first concert here. As one who appreciates historical buildings, I expected to love this gorgeous theatre. What was unexpected was how impressive the acoustics were and what a delightful intimate experience this place provides! I'm exceedingly grateful to have seen her performance in this setting. It is obvious that the Jefferson Center cares about its patrons as much as its artists and performers as evidenced by the care taken to insure a smooth flow throughout the evening. Movement from the lobby to the restrooms to the seats was relatively quick. The courteous ushers are plentiful, the bartenders were swamped but efficient, well stocked and very friendly. Even the emcee was entertaining! Thank you so much for a consistently beautiful visit every time. Love this place!
This place is a amazing piece of history and it is beautiful. Love the staff and everyone involved in keeping this place a beautiful and enjoyable. Definitely a beautiful piece of history gently rubbed by time.
Beautiful historical building perfect for its reincarnation as a concert hall. Great acoustics. Management does a fantastic job of lining up high-caliber and diverse talent. Not only do patrons love this venue, so do performers-- they come back over and over to play here. My favorite entertainment spot in Roanoke.
We visited the Jefferson Center to see George Takei give a diversity and inclusion speech. The hall itself is magnificent and we were blessed with great seats. It's an older building, but it is a very charming piece of architecture in the 'hub-bub' of Roanoke. The only issue is with the parking. There is a small lot opposite, and we got there very early to get a space. I would imagine if you arrived just before the performance there would not be anywhere close by to leave your car.
