My husband and I are nurses and we were passing through Pine Bluff on the way to South Dakota for a travel assignment. We had our cat with us and we stopped at Walmart to let her out and feed/water her. She found a gap under a fence and was under it in a few seconds! She got into some woods and we couldn't find her. We walked through the thick brush and trees for 4 hours looking and calling for her. We finally had to leave to make it to South Dakota for work Monday morning. We cried when we left and I've cried everyday since. My husband tried the animal control department first and they didn't care. But when he called their Humane Society they were so kind and have really been trying to find her. We sent them pictures of her and described how much she is a part of our family. The staff at the Humane Society have kept us updated everyday and found some employees at the Walmart who spotted her 2 days ago! They're going to set a catch only trap for her this morning. What a blessing these special people are! We will be donating cat and dog food and anything else they can use. Any help someone can give to any Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
