We did newborn, six-month, one-year/family photos with Jessica, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The photos are beautiful, Jessica and staff are courteous and great to work with, and we have gorgeous memories to show our little dude's first year, and his big sis' hilarious and doting personality. She worked with us and she was amazing with our kids, and getting them into position and capturing an amazing (and crazily fast) year.
My favorite thing from the photos are the \imperfect\ photos. As in, sure, on some of the photos, all four of us are staring right at the camera with good posture, smiling and looking like a perfect family. But my favorites are the pics that capture the craziness of family, like the ones where our daughter was running toward the camera while my wife and I crack up. At our most recent shoot, the baby got a smash cake for his first birthday, except, he didn't do much smashing. Meanwhile, our daughter really wanted in on that cake. Jessica invited her over, and the kids ate cake, and played with balloons. Those pictures are perfect and funny, and adorable, and they happened kind of in a spur of the moment. My favorite is one where the baby is fussing a bit, while our daughter eats cake without a care in the world. That's real life family, right there. I'm so happy that Jessica includes those pictures, that capture the chaotic moments of family, along with the ones where the planets align and we're all in position smiling.
I'm glad we did these photos, and it was great to work with somebody that worked with us, and understood our family and did photos that fit in with our personalities. We even had to drive an hour from our home, but it was well worth it.
