This is now my favorite sushi restaurant in West Coast. The definition of properly made sushi is to keep it simple which is exactly what they do here: simple menu, no fish market odors, mildly sticky and warm rice because temperature affects the aroma of the fish, no fuss or dressing up your rolls in fried tempura or flooding the fish in sauces; Come here to eat authentic sushi in a serene and intimate space. It is similar to a sugarfish in which you get quality over quantity.

An underwhelming experience. Too expensive , they make you pay extra to cut the rolls, and the food was just not that delicious. I’ve had way better Japanese food for half the price.

The sushi herd is as good or better than anywhere else in LA. The staff and service is great. Unfortunately, since they moved their seating outdoors due to covid, they allowed their patrons smoke cigarettes at their tables while other people eat.

I meet with friends this lovely spot many times a year! This is the best place to have a bite. I visit this spot at least once a month. The meals are of high quality, the team is friendly and the prices are decent. I enjoy eating in this spot for a rich meal.
