Camping here is great, very peaceful. I recommend this for everyone.

As far as campgrounds go this is really not bad. The sites are clean and well placed. It's 12 a night for a campsite and sadly there aren't that many tent sites and the restrooms and showers are not open all night. There is a fishing dock right next to the camp grounds which is nice. One thing to be aware of though is that hornets are BAD during the summer. There is a store at the site that offers some basic camping supplies, fishing gear, scuba gear and various other things. This is not a store that I would use to get stuff you need though you would be better off bringing your stuff with you. Over all it's a nice place to take the family for a weekend.

A nice campground. Clean, nice campsites, but needs a little TLC

Nice but overgrown. Black berries abound and shrubs growing over the grills in some cases. Lake is beautiful, great for families. Needs some major brush cutting and clearing. No room for chairs or items unless you get lucky. Nice staff and campers. Will go back. Visit first and pick your preferred site.

This is a nice place to camp, but campsite 2, where we were, shares a water entry with campsite 3 that is pretty much in the center of the campsite 2 space, so you feel like your privacy is being invaded if site 3 wants to go to the water. I would recommend trying to get site 1. It was spectacular. There are A LOT of wasps here. I got stung by one about ten minutes after arriving and they kept swarming ya pretty much any time we were outside of the tent. There was some kind of party going on at one of the cabins for pretty much the entire day. To include a live DJ and VERY loud karaoke. There were probably at least 50 people attending the event. I feel like that shouldn’t be a thing that’s allowed and it made it really hard for anyone else that was trying to have a little escape to rest and relax. I’ll be speaking with an adventure center supervisor about this.
