Libraries are so important to our communities and society. They are the only place where you can go to where not a single person expects you to spend money and that is important. Also, reading exposes you to ideas and concepts that you may be able to relate to and learn from.

Great place to study! Workers are really helpful! They even have a lactation room for mothers which is awesome!
I've used this library for over 30 years. The librarians are good friends, and I've very rarely had a real problem. However, like with any library, you should check their online catalog soon after returning items, to make sure they were checked in and there were not any problems. I neglected to do that after turning in my last batch of books a few weeks ago. Sure enough, those are the books that have ended up somewhere in limbo. The library says they were never turned in, and as far as I know right now, I did turn them in. So, one of those really rare times. Things will work out. I'm hoping the books will turn up soon, one way or the other. Nothing against Spiva or the librarians by any means, just a cautionary tale and a reminder to myself in general. I use several libraries.
I've used this library for many years. Has as much access as any other school this size. Of course all the online source systems you can get elsewhere...but here there is a middle town America feel. Also the archives are a really nice feature.
The hours open are too short. The last university I attended was open 24/7 and I wish this library was the same way.
