This organization has been helping people in Jurupa Valley since 1993. For most of that time, it has organized six or more Christmas parades through various neighborhoods of Jurupa Valley, with the intention of collecting toys so that Santa, in fire truck driven sleigh, can visit the homes of less fortunate children with goodies for these children and their parents. Two years ago or so, Adopt A Family broadly increased the services it provides to the community, and now is helping people year-round in many more ways. Most recently, it received a grant so that it can build a new playground at Veterans Memorial Park, which is happening March 11.
