Small and Exotic airport. BUT you need good two hours to make it to your plane whatever airline status or online checkin you may do. The United gate has no bag drop area so you need to stand in line to drop the bags. Your best option is Skycap Express which is curbside and works on tips. The security line is smooth. The surprising piece is the gate agriculture check which at peak times can be hundred people long. So please give yourself enough time to get to your plane.

Super easy to get in and out of. Everything is clearly marked. Easy access to short term parking. Super friendly staff. My only concern is with the (at least) 3 cars in short term parking that appear to be abandon. Lots of debris on top of them with flat tires and windows down.

Love this airport! It is small but the staff runs it efficiently. It is mostly an outdoor airport, which is one of the coolest airports around. Fits the bill in this beautiful island.

Great. It's small which is nice. I had car trouble and got to airport after the plane has started boarding with dumb stuff in my luggage, like shampoo bottles, so they had to go through my stuff and I still made it to the flight on time. Love this place I prefer this airport to Hilo and I drive the 1&1/2 hours to the other side of the island when I get there.

Small, but very nice airport. That is how exotic airports should look like. Great experience, fast service. They have a little renovation right now, but everything is good organized. Friendly staff.

Employees in the airport were pleasant. Hated taking off my shoes on that ground outside for security checks, and later washed my feet. They should offer foot coverings.

Warren at United Airlines is awesome. United continuing a long tradition of great customer service. Airport is easy to get in and out. Watch your speed. They are serious about 25 and 15 mph areas. Saw several people getting cited. Rental cars are just east of airport about 5 min by shuttle. All are well staffed. Overall a great Airport.
