Came here for dinner with my wife and I couldn't be more impressed. Loved the interior - dark, woody, exposed brick. The service was excellent and attentive. The food - our appetizer was the salmon/lox - it was exquisite. My wife ordered the arctic char and due to the season, I was able to get the sauerbraten. Everything was just perfect! Our desserts were the apple strudel and black forest cake. Since the menu changes, I will be coming back to see what the team can do with other seasonal ingredients. Great job!

What a perfect little gem of a place. The setting was intimate and cozy. The staff was absolutely wonderful & knowledgeable about food & drink. The food & drink menus are outstanding. Everyone was over the top pleased with their selections. I will definitely make this a go to for date nights, or happy hours with friends. Highly likely a go to place for lunch carry out as well, since I can't stop thinking about that risotto with scallops!

The servers are so knowledgeable. A real German chef. When we were there he was on a zoom call collaborating with other Restaurants in Europe about German wines. Food fantastic. Parking easy. Atmosphere perfect. Great job of handling pandemic and social distancing. Also saw families with kids. Give it a try.

You may hear the staff speak German here. The food is great, as is the service and the atmosphere. Definitely a special occasion place for us. Prices are reasonable for what you get, the wine and beer selection are different and very good. Highly recommend.

we have enjoyed the scallops with duck liver, the duck, the venison and various schnitzels. Portions are always good and the quality is terrific with the delicious Affäre flair. It is our go to splurge restaurant. Katrin’s wine recommendations are always excellent as well, and I always discover new and interesting wines that I would not have tried

Food was good and they have a nice selection. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and crossroads is a frequent destination for us. Service left a lot to be desired and it became almost uncomfortable to continually ask for service. With so many great restaurants nearby, we probably will not return. Glad we tried it.
