Five starts go to the food alone. The chicken is wood fired, juicy, tender, and with a ton of flavor. It reminds me of the chicken in Guanajuato, Mexico. Very authentic, even got a bit of smoke in the air from the wood grill in the back, just to add to the experience.

This place is incredible! Anybody or anyplace that serves chicken needs to be at this level. Add in the fresh tortillas...wow....so good! For sure one of my favorite places to eat in KC. The service is also on point for the amount of people they are serving. Sidenote: use a fork on the onions or your fingers WILL smell for days.
One of a kind eatery in Kansas City. Been there twice, only ate once...please be aware there can be a 30 minute wait, at times, for food. Chicken had a great grilled & smoky flavor. Wings were dressed with a spicy, vinegary sauce. Everything comes with warm, corn tortillas. Try some Chicken and then go across the street to San Antonio for some great tacos!
Super quick, great service. It was almost closing time and the guy in front of me got the last of the onions. Lady threw in a couple extra salsa's without me asking.
If you like chicken this is the place to go. Smoked chicken half or whole and also buffalo wings. The sauce on the wings is excellent and not very hot. Chicken is all they serve.
