I have never been in KVC or around any of the facilities but 1 thing is for sure I know several people that have worked at the facilities and they are very good people and they always talk about how much they like working for this organization. The people that I am talking about have been working for this organization for many years and they also live with the attitudes that they have brought them success on their jobs as well.

They ignore you. Don't keep you informed about anything.. Family should be with family I and my sister have been trying to keep our family intact, but kvc just gives us nothing. Been trying to see my grand kids since Jan. Been trying to adopt them since april.waited on packet that never came. Until Aug, then couldn't get in to see Dr to sign the health sheet. Was told I had 30 days to get it in. But couldn't get in anywhere, because all booked up due to school sorts physicals. I write my grand kids a letter 2x a month and they never get them. Now that they moved to a different foster home ,I don't even get to talk to them on the phone. And no one told me they moved. Kvc is suppose to help put families back together, where's their family preservation. And they took my grandsons I've had since they were born because of their mother's neglect just like the girls. The state of KS and the system have failed my family and broke us apart.
I agree with the lady that said \ I don't know how they sleep at night\ because I just said that a couple days ago. And it's the freaking truth they come into your home and shatter it. And then leave you hanging.
My husband and I have learned so much. Currently going through foster care classes. Very informative.
A wonderful place to learn to help people.
