Peter is the most incredible DJ/MC that I have ever seen or worked with. My husband and I booked him for our Kansas City wedding in June 2018... and, (from our amazing team of vendors), we would have to say that Peter was the best decision we made. Peter is the most dedicated MC. During the first meetings, he will work with you to understand details about your wedding and how to personalize the entire reception. From there, we worked with him on planning the entire night! Not a detail was left out and it was EXACTLY what we wanted and more!! Peter helped us to get our family and friends included in the evening, take a group photo with every guest piled on the dance floor, celebrate birthdays of a few guests, and took care of every worry we may have had about the evening running smoothly. If you are looking for a DJ/MC who is worth every penny, Peter is your guy. Our reception, was FUN, everyone danced the entire night, and people have been talking about the wedding nonstop. I can't think of how the night could have been better..... and it's all thanks to Peter.
Peter was simply amazing. He planned the whole wedding with us which was not something we expected with a “DJ”. He came up with a fun way to serve our dinner which everyone there had a blast doing. He also had us speak to our mom and dad in a recording during our mother/son and father/daughter dances. It was a total shock to everyone there and there was not a dry eye in the crowd. Thank you Peter for giving us all these ideas. He made everything very simple. We get comments daily on how great our wedding was and it was all because of Peter Merry. If you're looking for an amazing DJ who does WAY more than just be a "DJ" in the Kansas City, MO area, look no further than Peter Merry! From the very initial point of contact, Peter was very personable, caring, and warm. He's a clear communicator and he has excellent suggestions - something that is often more than welcome during the planning process when you're busy just trying to keep your head above water! He helped to coordinate BOTH our rehearsal dinner and the day of our wedding, collaborating effortlessly with me and my wife. He also adds his own special flare to the "traditional" wedding approach, and helps to ensure that your wedding day is truly FUN. I would recommend him to anyone in a heart beat.
Peter and his wife did an amazing job with our wedding. If you want a DJ who actually wants to get to know you, your family, and your wedding party this is your guy. He isn't just a DJ but basically the wedding planner as well, from creating the itinerary to making sure everything runs smoothly. There was never a lull where people were just sitting around not knowing what was going on. You can have the perfect venue & perfect food, but if your DJ doesn't keep the party going and flowing smoothly that will be all the guest think about. You truly don't realize how important a DJ really is until you go to other weddings, and it is amazing how much of a difference it is. You can tell when a DJ just shows up and doesn't even know the groom and bride's names until he reads it off the piece of paper (usually gets it wrong I might add). And we are so grateful for his wife, she literally cleaned up paint off carpet. She made sure everything was in the right place, and even setup our ceremony as it had rained and needed to be moved inside the day of. You can really tell these two love what they do, and will give you 100% of their dedication to making sure your day goes off without a hitch.
Peter is amazing! Growing up , I attended a number of wedding Peter did and I knew when my day came I wouldn't have a wedding without him. He's a magic maker. He kicks the party off and keeps the party rolling. He is organized and on top of everything including things you wouldn't even think of. Thank you so much for all the memories on our special day!!!
