I can not recommend old souls enough! Ellen made my first tattoo the most calming and enjoyable experience. Not to mention her delicate and beautiful artwork that she perfectly drew on my arm. I was extremely nervous to get my first tattoo and everything about the shop and Ellen put me at ease. The shop is full of live plants and super clean and they are clearly taking covid seriously. And Ellen is just a really sweet and gentle person. Highly recommend this place, I know I will be back!

I came to visit the shop because I had seen Ellen's art on Instagram and I wanted to give it a shot. Ellen has since done 5 of my tattoos. Ellen is always super great about touch ups and is very professional! The shop is always clean, the staff are always courteous, and it's near street car stops so if you have to park a little bit away you can hop on. If you are wanting to find a great shop with great people, look no further than Old Souls!
I got this gorgeous honeybee tattoo honestly on a whim and I'm happy Old Souls was the shop to get it at! I really digged the vibe of Old Souls from driving by and had the honeybee concept in my head for a while so I decided to check pricing here. They're the only shop I called and by chance they could get me in that same evening so I went for it. The shop is filled with beautiful plants and unique artwork inside so that was unique to see! Everything was clean and Covid proof so I had no worries from start to finish. Noah was my artist and was amazing, and for future I'd feel comfortable going to any of the guys there. The staff were all friendly and helpful getting me checked in. Noah asked for the opinion of the other guys as well as for my input to make sure the design was centered and exactly what I pictured in my head before any ink went down. I appreciate the collaborative effort of all the artists here! It made me trust what he had to say for the right sizing to get the detailing right and that they help each other out. During the tattoo, Noah kept the conversation professional and super down to Earth you'd think we had known each other for years! The detailing is honestly impeccable from the tiny wings to the legs and shading. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Best shop in KC! Very happy with the end result and I cannot wait to come back to add a crown to the top when I get 10K saved!
This shop is immaculately clean and all staff completely professional. My work was done by Richard, who did an amazing job. All of their artist's work can be seen on their Instagram page and they're all great.
