Ron and Tyler Armstrong our Excellent Vets. I trust them and their expertise. They know alot about English Bulldogs . My dog is always well taken care of by them. The staff is great and is very accommodating. I highly recommend them. My dog has gone through several surgeries and she recovers very well. Very happy with Platte Woods.

My very anxious Boxer does very well with any of the veterinarians here. They have done so much to help with his ear and skin problems, showing us preventative ways to keep him from getting flare ups.

This place is amazing! In my 30 years as a pet owner, I've used four animal hospitals, and Platte Woods is by far my favorite. Everyone on the staff is pleasant and obviously loves animal, from the people at the front desk to the doctors. Everyone there took great care of our cats, and perfectly balanced empathy and the reality of the situation when one of the cats was extremely ill. If I still lived in the area, I would still be taking out pets there.

Staff were helpful and kind. My feline guy is 16 years old and suddenly started losing weight and having breathing problems (in the past 3 weeks). The vet was also kind and matter of fact honest. I did not feel rushed or pressured to spend a lot of money on testing and for that I was grateful because I don't have any extra money right now and guilt on top of the sorrow I am feeling right now would be too much. He said he could do all kinds of tests and then I would know for sure but we are pretty confident that it is congestive heart failure and for that there's not a cure. Thank you so much for that. If there was any way that money could possibly save my baby Ollie I would find it somewhere. So thank you doctor for your kindness, honesty and insight. I would highly recommend Platte Woods Animal Hospital to everyone needing care for their fur baby.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. I originally called Platte Woods because my dog was diabetic and recently became epileptic and couldn't keep anything down, and they were the only office that was open. At the time I she was being seen at another vet office, so I didn't plan on them giving me much information with out seeing her. I spoke with Dr. Armstrong and he talked to me for the longest time explaining every little detail that could be going on with her as well as things to look for before I needed to bring her in. Then once I informed him that I was from the medical field he then went into even more detail to help me further understand and relate to what her body was going through. All of this for a dog that wasn't even a client there. Having a dog with all of these medical issues has been very tough on me. They have been there every step of the way to answer every question I may have with not just an answer but with reasons and descriptions to help me understand has made it so much easier. I have talked to multiple vets here, and each and everyone has been caring, empathetic and so knowledgable. I will never take her anywhere else!
