I came here when I was pregnant and they helped me much better than planned parenthood no one trying to molest me like the Dr at planned parenthood and no pressure to get an abortion like planned parenthood. Thank God for this place

NEVER come here. I didn’t realize that it was a crisis planned pregnancy (they are Christian based), and not a real planned parenthood health center until after arriving. My girlfriend and I came here to seek counseling and see our options, and instead, they separate my girlfriend and I, making me wait in the lobby while talking to her alone (since the women gets to make the choice). They asked if I was leaning more towards abortion or not, and since I was (given our position in life), they tried to convince her in every way possible to keep the baby since and was even trying to provide her with assistance on becoming a single parent (trying to break us up). They should be respecting all decisions depending on individuals positions in life. Instead, they scare you as much as possible and show that abortion is a horrible thing. After bringing me in, any reason I would give on why I wanted an abortion, and why I didn’t think now was a right time, the counselor would always try to make a very unrealistic sense of hope to make me change my mind, not taking into consideration of how it could affect my girlfriend and I or the baby, or those around me. She says to forget my family and everyone else, etc. But when it comes to “I want to keep the baby,” they won’t ask questions or go into reasoning, but rather say it’s a great idea, not considering what kind of life the baby would live.

Rachel and Mary absolutely are in the right career paths. They genuinely love what they do. Rachel's House does appear to be religion based which may be an issue for some but just try to keep an open mind as their intentions are good (I have no eligious\ bones in my body). Also, their services are FREE. I initially made this appt because my beloved planned parenthood has become so expensive almost all the recent political tyranny and I'm glad I did. Anywho, they offer parenting classes and much needed Fatherhood programs. Don't forget the 5 QT gift card :). Even if you're on the fence, just try it. The other reviews are older and I was weary of them but they seemed to have turned the place around.
