Great mix of martial arts....Taekwondo, sparring, and grappling. My kids have been going for four years and they love it. When they reach the advanced belts they have the opportunity to assist the teachers with the classes....I think this may be one of my kids favorite things and their self confidence really shows when they are teaching and critiquing forms of their peers.
My son started in the \Little Ninjas\ program when he turned 5. It was a great introduction to karate and was geared towards younger kids. The instructors focused on listening, self-control, and sportsmanship in addition to the fundamentals of karate. Unlike other studios we have tried, Karate USA is about your child's attitude and skill. They don't move your child along to the next level so they can collect the next fee or pressure you into buying all kinds of products. It truly is about learning the necessary skills and putting in the time and effort. We have also had a birthday party at Karate USA and it was awesome! What 6 year old boy wouldn't love to cut his birthday cake with a samurai sword? Its not just for kids either. I participated in the FIT USA program while my kids were in school and it was a great work-out! And it was fun to do some of the moves my son was doing at home. I highly recommend Karate USA!
My son Danny has just begun lessons here and he is thoroughly enjoying himself! Price is very competitive and instructors are knowledgeable and patient (my son is almost 5 years old). I'm very impressed with the ability of instructors to give personal attention while in a group/class setting to help Danny grasp some of the finer points of instruction. Seeing my son so enthusiastic about learning karate is very exciting for me as a dad. Not sure if I should tell my son he is learning MORE than just \karate\ but some very useful and important life skills (self-control, responsibility, respect and so much more)!
Karate USA has been a great activity for my 7 year old son. He joined as a Little Ninja 2.5 years ago and now he is about to get his blue belt. This school has it all. The instructors are full of positive energy and creativity. They are very passionate and dedicated to their students, which is reflected by the constant individual attention that each student gets. We are very happy with the program
