I love my alert system, a product that has held up for over 10 years. I had a issue with 1 sensor but it turned out it was the battery I was using, I recommend Duracell only in the motion sensors (Infrared Sensor).

I wish there was an option for no stars because this company doesn’t even deserve 1. I ordered the driveway alarm for my husband for Christmas. Unfortunately, we live in the woods and had to wait until March to put them up because of all the snowbanks. We set everything up and nothing worked. I called the company and spoke to an extremely rude woman who finally agreed to have me send it back to be fixed (because it had been too long since I bought it). She had me send back 1 piece of the 3 piece set because she was sure that was the problem. 2 weeks later we get it back and it still doesn’t work. This time, I had my husband call because she was so nasty I didn’t want to deal with it. He called and after arguing with the woman and getting hung up on, we sent it back again. Also, had to pay shipping for their broken product to be sent back to them. We sent it back and waited a month for it. Finally, I called and she said it was on its way. We just hung them up and finally it works. The other piece (that she was sure was fine) had 3 things wrong with it. The product itself is flimsy and cheap. One of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with for customer service and the woman who answers the phone shouldn’t be allowed near a phone. Always blaming us for not hooking it up right. It isn’t rocket science.

Horrible customer service. I don't normally leave reviews but I was prompted to do this one and it took me a few weeks to mull this over. I bought a house 10 years ago and it had a Driveway Alert system, which we fell in love with. Once or twice a year all I needed to do is change the battery. A few weeks ago the system stopped working. I changed the battery and it worked in the house but not out by the end of the driveway. In troubleshooting, I noticed the range was reduced considerably so I called the help line. The lady who answered, Kris I believe, was the rudest most unknowledgeable person that I have talked to. She berated me for using a lithium non-Duracell battery and said that it would damage the sensor. She even lambasted non-Coppertop batteries. I was put on-hold numerous times without even being asked. I've used lithium's for years now in their system and have had no problems. Since I work for a major (not Duracell) battery company and I know that different batteries last for different times in a product. I average 10-11 months with my preferred battery in their sensors. The lady then proceeded to tell me that I had it mounted too high. I questioned why it had worked for so long at the current height of 3 feet but never got an answer. Needless to say I got nowhere. I later discovered the problem was some noise interference and the system is back to working fine. If you call and get \Kris\, ask to speak with someone else unless you prefer rudeness. At least I can buy on the internet should I need something but I will never call again! Good luck to everyone else who calls!
