We had a great experience with SeaWind Aviation. The tour was a bit pricey, but it was worth it. We had a great time flying into the Misty Fjords and looking at the beautiful scenery. Our pilot was great. We felt safe. My daughter left the tour with a new vocational goal (bush pilot)! Three days after our flight, there was an accident with two float planes colliding on a visit to Misty Fjords. We are happy SeaWind Aviation was not involved. It was sobering to hear that just days after our wonderful adventure.

Adventurous flight over the Misty fjords. I loved the older plane, gives it a more authentic feeling instead of the modern planes, less people on board. I would definitely pick them again!

So far I can't say enough about the kindness and timely responses. We are planning a float plane trip to a national forest service cabin and they have been so helpful planning many aspects. I am very much looking forward to our trip and flight with Seawind. You will not be disappointed with their service. They have been so much more already than just a charter plane booking. We couldn't speak more highly of our experience with SeaWind Aviation. We were looking for bears and only saw a couple from up high but the scenery was so spectacular! We got to land on the water in the fjord and then take off again. It's so neat to land and take off from the water! The whole experience was thrilling, beautiful and relaxing and we felt very safe in the hands of our pilot, Steve. We would do it again if we have the chance.
Highlight of our unforgettable Alaska trip! We booked a Misty Fjords tour and crab feast for 12 of us. At the very last minute, 6 of us decided we wanted to switch to a bear tour. Leslie was fully booked but worked her magic and was able to split our group. Half went to Misty/crab feast and the other six went to Polk Inlet to view bears. We all went on float planes... I went on bear viewing and it was the most amazing experience ever. The group that went to Misty Fjords was equally awed. Our experience with Seawind from booking, communication, timeliness... everything was flawless. I highly recommend them for an experience you will never forget.
Highlight of our Alaskan cruise! Ketchikan was our favorite port and the Misty Fjords seaplane tour was well worth it. Excellent staff and highly recommend.
