I've completed the 4 Essentials, Aesthetics, and Dental Sleep Medicine courses. The Pankey Institute has helped shift my mindset from \having to go to work\ to \getting to go to work\. It's more predictable, more fun, and more rewarding. There is tremendous value and authenticity in attending a not-for-profit education center and learning from colleagues who are experienced and eager to give back to the profession. In addition, I've gained a wonderful network of lifelong friends. Oh, and I met my wife at the annual meeting in Nola in 2015, so yeah, this place is pretty special to me. ;)

I knew that I was going to study at The Pankey Institute before I went to dental school. I had the privilege of working in the dental office of Dr. Steve Hart, a Pankey dentist and one of the best restorative dentists in the country in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I went through the curriculum in the 1990's and have had the honor to be a member of the visiting faculty during the last 5 years. I have studied at numerous other institutes and with many of the best dentists in the world but The Pankey Institute has been at the foundation of my continuing education. If you are interested in a more rewarding career in dentistry, you will find that The Pankey Institute offers a unique and comprehensive combination of technical, behavioral, and managerial skills taught in dentistry today.
The Pankey Institute provides more than just excellent clinical continuing education. Not only do you learn practical techniques that you can take home and implement immediately in a broad range of topics including comprehensive care, sleep dentistry, occlusion, appliance therapy, interdisciplinary and complex treatment planning but there is always a behavioral thread that runs through every course. It always comes down to trust and meeting people where they are at in any relationship. At Pankey, you will learn how to be a better clinician, as well as learning how to be better person. I practice in Washington State and have been learning at Pankey since 1999 and it’s more than worth the time it takes to travel. I always leave Pankey feeling rejuvenated, calmer and excited about life.
