It was my first time renting from Board Barn. Had a wonderful experience working with a very kind and helpful associate in the morning who helped me size my ski boots, gave me tips on how to stay warm/ comfortable and even helped me take my boots off before I went on my way. The whole staff is super friendly. When we came to return our supplies, though, another associate noticed some damage on one of my skis. He escalated this to the manager who came over to handle the situation. Unfortunately, we were in a predicament - I either had to pay for the ski or cover the damage. I had only skied for the day and fell once - nothing out of the ordinary - so we were really surprised by this. The manager stayed extremely calm as we tried to navigate this situation. He was kind, professional, listened to everything we had to say and did everything he could to accommodate and compromise with us. Even though it was a bummer of an end to a great day, I appreciate the customer service and highly recommend you rent/ buy equipment from here.
I can't say enough about this place first time in Vermont Skiing and this whole made the morning start off right.
