I haven’t been to Ditchley yet so I decided to give it a try one beautiful fall day. The setting is lovely and judging from the cars in the parking lot, it appears to have an up market client base . The 1700s home of the Lee family, I believe nestled on a huge chunk of land. The main 2 brick structures are very handsome and are flanked by huge old trees and rolling lawns, the roses were still blooming , while the cows huddled in their fenced area , taking it all in you can tell it’s a special place . Tables were set on the lawns and a tent was erected between the two structures in the event of bad weather. Christmas music faintly echoed along the grounds .. I’m guessing outdoor concerts would be great there making for a very special time. Since we just got our tummies filled at our last stop we didn’t try the food offerings which were limited. In the future I plan to revisit it though and try what they do have .. Id suggest it’s a good place to bring friends ,or a date, or your partner/best friend .. more so in great weather . If you enjoy serenity, nature and Colonial Architecture you have to try it! I’m hoping they expand their menu for an even more rewarding adventure .. Try it!

This is hands-down the most scenic cidery we have ever visited. their selections are rather limited with only three ciders offered but all three tasted good to myself in my wife. two of the siders are relatively dry with one that has residual sugar in it that's not real sweet but a hint of sweetness. This is also a farm with sausage (various types/seasonings), beef, chicken and eggs for sale. We came early on Sunday for the brunch was very good.

I have been to Ditchley many times and I am delighted with what Cathy, Paul and Pam are doing there with the Cider Works and delighted that Cathy and Paul have preserved the historic house, graveyard, and fields with conservation easements. Most recently I visited over Memorial weekend with my family to enjoy a delicious brunch complete with cider and cider donuts in their healthy outdoor setting.

Cider is good, don't recommend the brunch. For being a farm we expected fresh ingredients. It looked like the quiche had been cooked with canned tomatoes and frozen spinach, and made early in the morning and been left on a heater, which made it appear to be burned. The frittata also appeared to be made earlier, as there was no way of making it made to order - which assumes it was not fresh. We came mid - brunch and they were already out of cider donuts, yet had two more hours left to their brunch hour. The portions were also lacking the 10 and 12 both dishes cost.
