We have had the pleasure of working with Kirby twice now. My husband and I had been trying to learn to wake surf all summer and Kirby taught us how to do it in the first session we had. He was also able to teach our son and now we are just working on fine tuning our skills so we can move onto tricks. Our son is 12 and gets frustrated easily, however that wasn't an issue with Kirby at all. He was patient and knew exactly what to say and do to keep our son engaged. I would highly recommend working with him if you have ever wanted to try wake surfing or wake boarding. This has been such a great family activity for us. We will certainly be returning for future activities. I would also like to mention the pricing was affordable with everything you need wrapped into one price.

We've booked sessions with Kirby a couple of times now and couldn't be happier. It was basically everyone's first time wake boarding and surfing as an adult. Just a bunch of 30 year-old has-been's looking for a thrill and a solid day on the water and Kirby delivered. His skill and coaching are a great asset to the LOZ community. Even though we're in no way going to compete he treated each ride as an opportunity to coach in a way that made us comfortable, confident, and improve. Great Malibu boat, great equipment, and a great coach! We'll be back I am sure.

Our experience with Kirby was more than we ever expected! In our search for someone to take our group out to wake board, wave surf and ski we found several people around town recommending Kirby. It was worth it! He was an incredible instructor and captain. He was trustworthy, honorable and supportive. I look forward to coming back and will most definitely do it again. WOW! What an AMAZING experience!! We turned wakeboarding into a birthday outing that will never be forgotten. Kirby is just TOP NOTCH. Not only is he a fierce competitor in the sport, but he is gifted in his ability to coach his sport to others, and he relates especially well to kids! As if that wasn’t enough, he’s a beautiful roll model for young boys-a true class act. We are blessed to have him here at Lake of the Ozarks.
