I was at this company for about six months until the manager, Kelly McLaughlin, let me go with an email saying that was my last day when I got home after work. No one mentioned anything to me while I was in the office that day, and so being let go was a total surprise and I had no other source of income at the time. When the manager said we could discuss the reasons in person the following week I went to the office and was on time for the appointment, but was told the boss was out of the office that day and too busy. Later I received an email by her claiming we could talk over phone later in the week, but that never happened either even though I followed through. Being treated that way was beyond insulting. Kelly was incredibly indifferent, rude, and unprofessional. If you enjoy working for a company that doesn’t value your work, doesn’t provide opportunities for growth, shows favoritism, lets go of numerous people for no reason without notice, and enjoys working in a fraternity environment, then by all means apply. It’s no wonder they can’t keep clients and the turn over rate is so high. I’ve known other people who have worked there and left. If you’re a client I suggest you look elsewhere. It’s a pretty good indication that a company won’t value you if they don’t value their employees and interns.
