Absolutely loved it. Great place for a date night. Food was good, but my husband ordered the catfish sandwich and it was way too salty! Atmosphere was so nice. Band playing Johnny Cash covers. Kids running around. It wasn't too packed for a saturday so we had a great time!!

The atmosphere and charm was very inviting with staff being very friendly. We happen to come on a busy Sunday so our service was a bit slow but. The food and beer was very good. Only complaint I would give is the gravy used for the jagerschnitzel. You could barley make out the hint of wine but it was lacking pepper or salt, giving it a watery taste. Overall I will return as it did not discount my experience :)

Krause’s Cafe was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The mushroom sauce on the Jäger Schnitzel was perfect and the sausage was melt in your mouth. The sauerkraut was good and surprisingly spicy. It paired perfectly with the sausage. And I was pleasantly surprised by the German potato salad as well. Very tasty meal and a great experience overall

Food, drink and atmosphere were all on point! Loved eating beneath the German flags listening to some twang. Super open, a bit crowded (I get it, it’s a great place!) but also very well spaced out.
