I bought her Exotics Flowers from the tropics. I used my regular sewing machine to do the sashiko .It's the one that has one stitch forward and two backyards.You use black thread on topped use what you want to use for sashiko stitches in the bobbin.They are coming out so beautiful and just like the picture on her web site. So easy to follow her instruction .Plus gives me something fun to do while the whole country is in this lockdown pandemic.
Store is a joy to visit. It's worth the trip. Best sashiko store around - she has a little fabric too!!! I got to spend the morning with Sylvia in a class.. She is a joy! Very friendly and helpful. I would recommend very highly!!!! Parking can be a challenge.
Very helpful classes taught by Sylvia Increases your creativity. Wonderful kits available.. The staffs very helpful. I love to go in the shop to see what is new and available. Pat Bronson
Sylvia Pippen has wonderful patterns, kits and sewing/quilting supplies. Her patterns & kits, which she designs, are artfully done & beautifully packaged. She fills orders promptly and is available to answer her customers questions. She strives to be fair & helpful to all her customers. I highly recommend using her products either by utilizing the website or shopping at the store, Indigo Stitch.
Lovely shop with cheerful active group of ladies in learning obviously enjoying the activity and group. Very helpful staff. Loads of beautiful fabric and Sashiko needlework kits. Something for everyone!
