If I could give zero stars I would.. Why earth are they NOT open or have a drop box. The employees so unhelpful and RUDE. Literally can't tell me when they sent my birth certificate and marriage license back in the mail it has been almost a MONTH. Those are not things to be lost in the mail. The supervisor isn't even answering our calls. This is the most frustrating thing ever. Why are the bars open but something actually essential is refusing to make appointments.
Very rude for a simple task of obtaining replacement cards. Spoke over me and spoke to me like I was a child and had somehow interrupted his day! I’ll go to the SS office in a different town!
The SS is closed due to Covid, so everything is by Mail. Having talked to the local office I was confident I had all the correct information mailed for my son's new SS card. 4 weeks later I received everything back saying I needed proof who I was. When I called SS I unfortunately talked to Jose who was a very rude person. Told me I had to send my Drivers license . Jose you are very rude and should think about getting out of customer service. 4 weeks have gone by and I have no idea where my paperwork is and either does SS. Amy is very nice to talk to by the way! Still waiting.....
Called during “regular business hours”, sat through multiple automated messages about things that did not pertain to my call, finally was told to press 0 to talk to a live person, but when I did the automated message said my call could not be completed as dialed and hung up on me. This is especially unhelpful for an office that is currently closed for in person services because of Covid.
