I am a custom home builder in the mountains of Colorado and work in conjunction with Colorado Timberfame. We are currently working on a large hybrid timber frame in the Black Hawk area. Colorado Timberframe has provided superior quality products for this project to create a masterpiece modern mountain home. We are also working on some future projects to be built soon up here in the mountains. A great company to work with. I highly recommend them !

While my project is smaller than the typical Colorado Timberframe project (825 sqft main floor with 235 sqft loft), Seth and Kevin worked with me closely to provide a fully engineered timberframe package. All told, my modern cabin is proof that one can build a beautiful Douglas Fir timberframe in a smaller design and for a smaller budget. I was onsite for the two-day frame raising process, and Colorado Timberframe’s construction manager did a great job organizing each step of the raising and in keeping my G.C.’s carpentry crew safe in their work. There were very few glitches on the raising, and the posts, beams, rafters and braces all fit together perfectly. One can best appreciate the tight tolerances of that CNC machine when one is in the field watching the frame construction and raising process….truly amazing. I’m happy to recommend Colorado Timberframe to any future timberframe owner, as they were professional and helpful during the design and engineering stages and ultimately they delivered exactly what I was looking for at a price point that was reasonable.
