Booked a small boat. 550 hp boat's engine is fast and very loud, be prepared. It fits 6-8 adults and you don't need rain coats and etc.. You need to arrive 15 minutes before your ride. Swamps are amazing. There are not so many gators in January, but we spotted a few small gators and one 5-7 ft long teenager gator :) there are also a lot of other animals and birds. You will get some interesting facts from a guide and can prepare some questions about gators, wildlife, and LA national parks. Well done, highly recommend.

Ronnie our airboat captain was amazing. He brought the tour to life with his experience and flair. He handled what could have been an unpleasant situation with a overbearing guest in such a way that it flipped the narrative and made the already fantastic experience more amusing. He wove in personal experience with facts to bring about a truly knowledgeable and enjoyable trip.
The tour guide was very good. He was knowledgeable and made the tour fun and amusing as well. I had an incident about halfway through the tour where I had severe pain and pretty much passed out. They handled it great and rushed me back to the tour center and had medics for me. I ended up having a kidney stone. I was so embarrassed and felt like I was ruining the tour for everybody. Airboat adventures took everyone else on my boat back out and finished the tour for them giving them a good experience. They also did not make me feel like an inconvenience at all. They handled the unfortunate situation incredibly well and did as much as they could to make everyone involved still have as good of an experience as possible.
Absolutely loved our experience w/ Captn Steve. Jan 31st, and he managed to find us Huge Gators!!! What a fun exoerience on the small airboats!!! My favorite swamp tour of all 4 I've been on
I will not book a tour through this company during covid. NO social distancing measures were upheld. The bus driver allowed an entire group to sit unmasked and with a puppy in tow.
