we got there on Tuesday after labor day. not very crowded with just a few others there. checked in, paid and told them we were new to the range. they were very nice, walked us around, told us the rules and were very helpful. Allen was the range master and was very helpful and kind to my wife who had not shot before. He even let her shoot his personal . 22 and she loved that way more then the 9mm. Definitely will go back.

Coworker is a member and invited me shooting. Had a blast. Lots of steel set up and a 300 yard lane. There were others shooting and I didn't feel unsafe once.

Friendly staff, and I like that the range has 200 and 300 yard steel targets.

I don't think the one star ratings are deserved. My biggest complaint is that some of the steel targets are missing, not enough to make a difference at least. Also the shooting benches are crammed together at 100 yards. My Dad is getting older so having him climb over stuff to be seated and shoot is a downfall. The 50 yard is just a leaning piece of cardboard against two metal poles. We were told that it's the next upgrade on the list, but first impressions count. I would build up the berm and get rid of some of those ridiculous wooden panels that are clearly there as a safety measure so rounds don't fly high. It makes it impossible to shoot standing. For a few thousand this place could improve up to four stars. It might be worth the trouble to open a full fledged gun shop, what is in there is slim. Of course I don't pay the overhead there. It could be a quality place to shoot with some minor polishing. The staff was friendly enough, and it's not a hassle to get started. If you look around there are not a ton of rifle ranges in the area. I would go again and maybe become a member for the right price if I was in town full time.
