The airport was nice and clean very appealing to the eye. However the rental company did not have my car as promised. The agent that booked the car for me over the phone and took my credit card information should have informed me before showing up at the airport that they would not be having anything available to me.Needless to say I should never use Alamo who is also a sister company of Enterprise car rental s. Can you imagine traveling expecting a car to be waiting for you at the airport to find your on foot. I would imagine that these two companies lose a lot of business for the airport and themselves.

I luv the Lake Charles Airport and that's why I give this airport a full 5-star. What I like it's the smaller size in the airport. Sometimes, small airport has its advantage. Less flights, less people, quicker to get out of the airport and also shorter lines to get through the metal detector, easier to find your gate for your flight. Everything can be done in 15 minutes to check in the airport (of course, that depends on the time and date), but it was quick for me both ways. Luv it!

The staff at L.C. Regional Airport were A1 & 2 employees stoodout among the rest. They were extremely helpful, professional, and went above & beyond to assist me w/ transferring items to my other luggage bag to make sure my bags made weight before departing. Big Thanks to Dana & Jordan!!! Other Airports should model their employees after these two. Great Job guys!

I was there when they were cleaning up and rebuilding after Laura deviated the Lake Charles area. Amazing locals and the people that came to help. The airport got the power back on the day I got there. Awesome people. A beautiful little airport. I pray all y'all recover and rebuild quickly. Be Blessed
