Good free staging area for walking or biking the El Toro Bike Trail. Also can get to Whiting Ranch Wilderness area.

It's a nice spot, lots of parking during the day. Bike trail leads to the Canyons off towards the right, and off to the left leads to the beach. The downfall there is no water fountains here so pack up your water beforehand. Also there is no grills but there are picnic tables
