Do not plan a wedding here if there is even a chance COVID or ANY other unforseen circumstance may affect your big day. My fiancé and I had our wedding planned here the summer of 2020 and had to cancel due to COVID restrictions. I completely understand this is a difficult time for business and brides alike. However, this club acted so unethically, I can't warn other brides enough to steer clear of Paint Creek Country Club. In a time of uncertainty, they strung us along and refused to refund us 8k. We understood the 1k security deposit was nonrefundable, per the contract - however they also kept the remaining 8k of our first deposit. They said we were welcome to reschedule for another day that year - but when we pointed out that they couldn't possibly know what gathering restrictions would be like in the near future, the manager just agreed and said, \we'll see what happens.\ We asked for a refund since they could not honor their agreement in the foreseeable future and the manager told us that his lawyer thinks they don't have to give it to us. We asked if he thought that was the ight\ way to respond in this situation even though no service was provided for the money we paid. The manager kept repeating, \my lawyer seems to think we can keep the money.\ They came across so nice and well organized at first. We were very excited to work with them, especially since the club is so beautiful. However, their attitude completely changed. I guess unforseen times really does bring out their true colors. Wedding and event planning is expensive enough as it is... Don't risk losing out on a lot of money with this place!

Could not have been happier in choosing Paint Creek Country Club to host our wedding reception. The venue is absolutely beautiful. Haley and her whole team were wonderful from start to finish. I never thought I would be a difficult bride but I totally was. We visited multiple times to take measurements and look at decorations. We couldn't make the group tasting because we had our Pre-marital counseling. They set up another day for us to do our tastings and accommodated when we had an additional person show up that we invited but were told wasn't coming. They stayed late for us the night before the wedding to let us set up because we did all our decorations and chair covers our selves. We can not thank Haley enough! It was absolutely worth every penny!

Excellent banquet venue with unlimited wedding possibilities. Great food (Traverse City Chicken) and staff. I would highly recommend Paint Creek Country Club in Lake Orion for your spring, summer, fall, or winter wedding or corporate event. Great Job Paint Creek Country Club. Scott
We always have a great time at Paint Creek! Whether we are golfing, having a drink in the lounge, dinner in the dining room, playing with the kids at the pool or grabbing a bite during a round at the Creekside Grill, it is always enjoyable.
