The owner charges a lower yearly fee if you pay by card than cash. When I asked him why he said \when people pay by card I still have there card # and can charge them the full price of a 2nd year if they forget to cancel within 1 year of the 1st membership\. 1 month before the covid shutdown I talked him into letting me pay 200 cash for 1 year, now that gyms are open again he is out of business. Judging by the amount of 1 star reviews where people say that he does not let them cancel after he gets their credit card, it is probably for the best that he is going out of business. Also the saunas barely worked.

He keeps taking peoples' money, even after they cancelled according to his own cancellation policy. There exists tons of Google reviews to confirm he does this to a lot of folks. And ho won't acknowledge you, respond to you, to otherwise. No wonder he is going out of business.
The best fitness facilities I have been to. Has various different halls for weight training and functional fitness. Highly maintained and clean. Good job.
I have been a member for many years and have never been disappointed. Great atmosphere. Management and members are friendly and helpful. I always have a great time working out. I have recommended to many friends who have signed up and been pleased. Highly recommend.
The Gym of Lake Orion is a great place to work out. Clean, friendly, and consistent. I have been a member for 8 years and I will continue to be a member for another 8 years without question. Great price, quality equipment, and a lot more space than other gyms I have been a guest at. I never feel over crowded even when the gym is full because of the well thought out lay out/placement of equipment. I recommend friends, family, and strangers.
