Nice new townhouse community
like
I feel sick to my stomach having to write this review right now, but I know my review will help a lot of families. I am a resident at Cypress Springs the gated community across the street from Cypress Royale. My husband, and I were looking to downsize as all of our oldest children have moved out for college. I did a tour of the neighborhood and got to see the very nice floor plans they offered early this morning, they were beautiful homes and I was really excited to share with daughter that we would be in the same school district as the current one we reside in. So excited I decided to go back later in the evening with my youngest daughter and my oldest who just came back down from college to visit for the weekend what might there future home would potentially look like, I was devastated as our glee turned into sorrow and fearfulness when we noticed we were being followed by a white Woman and what I presumed to be her teenage daughter in the passenger sit. I assumed since I was driving slow giving my children time to see the house, I might have been in her way so I pulled to the side giving some room to pass which she then stop her car and put her high beams on beeping at us. As we continued to drive she continued to follow us around with her high beans still on, I again pulled to the side completely over to give her room to pass which at this point she threatened to slam into the back of our car if we didn’t leave. I did eventually find out that this women herself or husband is a POLICE OFFICER. If you see a black police car stay faraway from them, my children felt racially profiled and unsafe. I will be NOT moving in there, I feel uncomfortable knowing that if I decide to move there my children who drive from Gainesville, Jacksonville, and Orlando late in the day from college will constantly be QUESTIONED, HARASSED, and FOLLOWED by this lady.
