My husband and I stopped to order a light lunch. We ordered shrimp and cod fish basket to share. It was a large portion that feed both of us and we brought some home. The breading on the fish and shrimp was very good. I noticed they had calamari, so I got an order to go. I tried a couple pieces before we left. Excellent. We will be going back there when we want seafood items. The staff were very helpful and seemed to truly care about their customers satisfaction.

The lemon pepper wings were pretty good, but I could taste the high blood pressure haha. The mullet fish platter was more of a tasty stack of mullet fish than a meal... Actually, that's exactly what it was, a tasty stack of fish. Service was average, expect for the kind young man that came to our car around 5 pm on 12/6/20 to let us know the food was ready. I don't know if that was standard protocol when folk forget to come in at the estimated wait time, but it was appreciated. Nothing fancy, but definitely good tasting fish meat and fish. To-go recommended.
EXCELLENT FOOD!! Cheaper than Salem's across the street. Riverside's seafood was fresher than Salem's too. The girl who took our order carried our food out to the car. That was very helpful, as we are disabled. My family and I have a new favorite seafood restaurant... Riverside Express Seafood. Update 1/30/21 I had another EXCELLENT experience here today. Same as before...excellent service, delicious food, all condiments and plastic ware included in the bag. And curbside delivery! Thank you, Mohammed!
I visited this spot yesterday and, though it looks like a hole in the wall, the food is of a much higher caliber than some rinky-dink spot on Memorial. You walk in and are met with fresh seafood, that's right fresh, and you look up at the menu and it's hard to decide. Whiting? Red Snapper? Cod? Basa? Scallops? Shrimp? When you enter, you'll be met with High Levels of Customer Service, Lingering Smiles, Happy Cheers, and Employees who are TURNED UP! It looks harmless, but you will easily become addicted to this food. Their motto is NO JOKE and is the ULTIMATE TRUTH. Smells Good - Tastes Better!!!!!!!!!
Large portions of very good lightly battered fish & fries. Very simple food. Inexpensive. Lots of take out orders flying rapidly out of kitchen. Atmosphere was clean but not somewhere I'd take a date. I'll be back.
