Contrary to the previous review, the water in Lakeway is of excellent quality. It tastes much better than the salty urine-like liquid they call tap water in houston. The Lake Travis water can get a musty odor when the lake is low but it still tastes great. The bigger issue here is the cost of water, it can get expensive.

It's funny the picture on the search results talks about the quality of the water. Our water in Lakeway tastes and smells like fish. It's gross. I called them to alert them and it was a little condescending that the answer was once they figure out how to lower the lake level, it will be solved. Apparently a lot of people have complained about this and they don't want to treat for taste and odor because it is too expensive. That's fine, but maybe don't brag about how great the water is!!! Had fishy coffee this morning. That's how I know it's time to change my Zero water filter :) Gotta invest in one if you move here.
