A few weeks ago I took a makeup lesson with Melody from Makeup and Magick (she also did my makeup for my wedding). . I have some various redness throughout my face; t-zone and cheekbones are my problem areas. . I explained to her that I wasn’t happy with my redness that was peaking thru my makeup after just a few hours of wear. And I’ve used every color correcting product out there! Some worked, others didn’t. So using some of my current favorites - Melody asked me a few simple questions and then we set up a time to chat “virtually” - of course. She gave me a quick and simple makeup lesson on how to better achieve the overall look I was looking for. . With just a few tweaks and new techniques with the current products I was using - I left the lesson feeling hopeful and inspired! And I must say that after a few weeks of doing my makeup differently that pesky redness hasn’t come back. . If you’re new to makeup or need just some professional advice - Melody at Makeup and Magick is your girl! She’s fun to work with, professional and 100% honest!

Melody is fire! She brings such light and fun energy to her sessions. I was really challenged to self reflect in ways I know was needed. Melody was incredibly intentional in creating a safe space from her prep sheets, to the follow up. A weight was lifted off my shoulders after our session, and I can't wait to dive into the tools she shared with me to keep on with the work :)
