It is Sun Dec 6, 2020 about 12:20pm. Someone broke into my parents house this morning while my disabled father was sleeping and ransacked the house looking for quick cash. My mother returned about 10:15am to find the door open and the place a mess. They called 911 immediately even though it was obvious that the person had left at 11:30 that person came back add tried to get in the house again while they were both home. My mother called 911 asking for help because the person had returned but fled when he realized 2 people were home now. It has been over 2 hours since the initial contact and no one has ever bothered to call then back to see if they were ok. This is after calling 911 that the thief had returned and they were in physical danger/distress. I live 40 min away and had I known that they would be ignored I would've gone myself right away. I just thought that sometime local would be able to get there faster. What a complete mistake that turned out to be. Now I'm headed there to take care of them personally since it seems the local police didn't care enough to even try to call them after 2 calls to 911 and a SECOND visit from a thief.
