My husband and I got in touch with land headquarters and left a message just a few hours later Kari got in touch with us. She walked us through everything. They are closed on the weekends but she got in touch with me on a Sunday afternoon and had our file created so by Monday she started the process. We were approved within a few days of putting in our application. We closed on 3/24. This has been the best experience we have ever had and Rhonda has been awesome to us as well. Predatory lender. Sends you eviction notice before your 30 days are up to make a payment. They send you 3 or more certified letters a month and are rude
We bought our place March of 2017 so we’ve been in it for 10 months. As is no guarantees so you really have to know what you’re getting into with a property. 1500 down, 472.50 a month and only took a week from the time we put the application in until we signed the papers. They made it possible for us to be home owners! We were spending so much money on application fees for rentals just to be turned down because there was always a better applicant out there. As anyone who has ever had credit challenges knows it only takes one small mistake to result in years of trying to get your credit up to the standards that a traditional lender requires even if you have a really good income. The property was exactly what we were looking for: do it yourself and make it our own. Interest rate is a little high but they’re up front about all the costs of the contract. When you have no other opportunities for home ownership and potential landlords are focused on a credit score instead of the whole picture you don’t mind paying a little more to get your foot in the door. Payments are very reasonable too, less than rent would cost us. We would definitely buy another property from them if the opportunity arises.
