I spent September to December of last year finishing my first semester in Vegas. I had the best time of my life and gained endless knowledge about the industry and myself. I became increasingly independent and confident over those three months since I was living alone in a different country. Even though I was by myself, I have never felt more at home than I did in a class full of people that shared my passion. They became my family and I developed relationships that I hope lasts a lifetime.

Super proud to be an alumni of this prestigious event planning school @tisoh_school in Nevada, USA. Worth every penny spent. I studied Wedding/Event planning, I also had training in Hospitality in 2015. We had hands-on training, classroom learning, weekly assessment, computer-based exam, for 2 nights straight I didn't sleep. I was studying for my final exam, couldn't afford to fail. In this school, you have to study, learn, intern, presentations, and final examination before you are able to graduate. Thanks, @tisoh_school for the great experience, I am doing great with my planning company!

TISOH was the right choice for me. I have done very careful research on schools that could give me a great boost of knowledge and networking opportunities. TISOH has it all. The greatest feature of this school is that the teachers are real industry professionals that still are in business and can give you real-life information. We had many open classes with other industry professionals sharing their experience with us and who now became my good friends. If you are looking for a great source of opportunities, TISOH should be your top choice.

With the hands-on knowledge gained from the expert classroom experience, I have been able to over so subtly run my business so as to attract a high-end clientele. I have never had to ask for business, rather, business comes to me. I do not advertise, and therefore my marketing allotment can go towards pro bono work and work that serves the community in areas that touch my heart. And because of the savvy Concierge knowledge I gained in the TISOH class, I maintain a high amount of repeat business with the upscale clients. I remain on preferred vendor lists in the 5-star properties, and then, for the past 4 years, have been the creator and sole curator for a fabulous program in one of the Las Vegas pinnacle properties where my product is offered 7 days a week. Had it not been for the TISOH Concierge class, I would not have had a thorough understanding of how to operate and maintain business on the 5-star level. I am thankful EVERYDAY for the background I gained at TISOH.

I was so excited about this program and opportunity, only to discover that TISOH was not a good fit for me. Unfortunately, the program seems to teach, the principles of hospitality, but fell tremendously short of the standard. The proficiency of the educators did not reflect the performance level expected of the student, and many teachers seemed more inclined to grade, on a basis of personal opinion, Vs the guidelines of the official rubric. After addressing the academic environment, to no avail, the social environment fostered by the instructors became more mean-spirited and passive aggressive: which seemed to be further reflected in my grades. I ultimately left, the program feeling valuable time had been wasted, and my creativity, deliberately stifled. Although, I thought it'd be best for me to continue my education elsewhere, There are staff members and administrators that exemplify the core of hospitality however, they were not my instructors.
