For one of the hardest moments I’ve ever experienced, I had to lay my mother to rest. Laurel Land was wonderful. Even though a pandemic they still gave all a d even more of what I expected. Our director Arthur Mitchell was phenomenal in assisting with the things I needed. Services ran smoothly and were beautiful. Thank you Mr.Mitchell and Thank you Laurel Land Funeral Home

Paid my respects to Stevie Ray Vaughan, kinda hoped I wouldve seen one of the members of double trouble in Dallas as well lol. Does anyone know if the members live or travel in Austin to Dallas? Would love to meet and thank them as well.

Laurel Land did a phenomenal job meeting our specific needs and exceeded our expectations. I walked in on a Friday at 4pm and expected to be rushed out the door. Instead, Linda Bell, Family Counselor, met with me and went above and beyond to explain all of our options, meet our budget, then drove me to the perfect spot for my Dad, under a beautiful tree. She stayed in touch with us through the whole process and was available anytime for questions. Everything went very smoothly and the service was perfect. It is truly a beautiful location and they really care about you and your family. We had looked at other area funeral homes, but this one by far was the best! I highly recommend Linda Bell and Laurel Land Funeral Home.

Our family could not have asked for a better level of care during our time of grief. We were extremely happy with Laurel Land and the amazing service that was provided. We thank you so much for EVERYTHING! We worked with Pamela Sing, and she is absolutely amazing. She answered every phone call, text message, and email. She made us feel well taken care of during our time of grief. Our entire family loved her! Thank you so much to the entire Laurel Land team. You will never know how appreciative we are for your professionalism, care, and overall service!

My nephew Andre was laid to rest here November 2014. He was only 19. Taken before his time. Huge crowd showed to pay their respects. Thank you to all who did. But the staff was not sympathetic at all. Maybe because the crowd was large and it wasn't their loved one? They were rushing people as they stopped to hug my sister. Putting their hands against people's backs to usher them on . Gesturing with their hands to people..to urge them forward. I found it very uncalled for and rude. I spoke up and apologized to one of them. Told her I was sorry that my nephew was so loved and that my sister losing her beloved son was such an inconvenience. It just broke my heart. We even had to carry my nephew by hand to his resting place in the cold, drizzling rain because they charged several hundred dollars(that she was unprepared for)to take him ON SITE to his resting place. Like funerals aren't expensive and stressful enough?! I mean, he was laid to rest IN laurel land..at the least.. it should of been a courtesy. But being carried by his closest family and friends..followed by his mother and 300 people who showed ...turned out to be a beautiful..sad moment.
