Always a friendly atmosphere— before and even after covid. They’re only accepting to go orders now, but the food is always fresh and delicious. I love the history and miss dining inside but I’m so glad to still be able to enjoy at home as well

It’s very good. The cheese eggs and grits. The butter in the background is delicious. Even the wheat bread accentuate the meal. The salmon is crispy and still pretty I applaud. But the salmon doesn’t taste like salmon at all. Almost like tuna. It would be great if the Salmon tasted normal bc that’s what I ordered. Normal salmon not a special twisted salmon. Should have explained in the description. But great overall
Walked up and placed a to go order, which only took about 10 min. Tried the seared tuna salad. Really great cajin seasoning on the tuna. The salad had great crunch with the wontons and really enjoyed their vinagerette. Did order a side croissant, which was dry and rubbery. Would definitely come back and try again.
My husband and I just ordered from your lovely Resteraunt for the first time. Let’s just say I am impressed. Food was ready before the quoted time and it was hot! We ordered the lumberjack which to our surprise was loaded with favorites. The French toast is the best in the city...I don’t know what you put in your batter but it needs bottled and sold! We have not tasted your banana cups or coconut cake as we are saving for a Saturday night treat. Keep up the great work.
The experience was awesome even during this pandemic. The outside area is used to wait for your food and service was excellent as usual. Salmon, grits and pancakes . Yummolious!
