Old school truck stop at it’s best. Showers, laundry room, small convenience store that sells beer. And a whole lotta parking. The restaurant is a walk back in history. The owner was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and besides the hundreds of coffee cups that line the walls, there are mementos of his time in Vietnam. Some very funny and some that bring home the reality that we lost some really good men in that war. All I had were the pancakes cuz I wasn’t that hungry and my Girl had the hamburger and fry that she says was the bees knees. I highly recommend this truck stop. 1/19/21 edit: here it is two years later and the fuel is cheaper and the food is still very good. Great little stop.
Uncle Petes truck stop is the best. Friendly good service. Excellent food home cooking. Real nice. Love them
