Overall, the experience wasn't pleasant, but the nurses and technicians were friendly and kind. I think psychiatrists tend to be more curt. It wouldn't hurt for the psychiatrists to attempt being a little more compassionate or empathetic. I think that the staff really tries their best to make it as pleasant as possible, and give the best acute care they can.

I voluntarily checked myself into this hospital because I had a nervous breakdown, but I would never recommend to go to this place to anybody! other than a good psychiatrist and a few nice nurses and meeting a few nice people that I became friends with, this place is pretty lousy!!
