Very nice rink and very nice staff, they were super helpful when I was trying to buy my first pair of skates (there is a shop for skates and other gear in the building!!). There is a restaurant/lounge for parents to sit down while their kids are in lessons. There is two rinks so there can be two events going on at once. I am taking learn to skate lessons here and the coaches are amazing! However, I have a couple complaints. During the week, if I want to practice, I can't because all of the public sessions are during school. Also, the rental skates are dull and uncomfortable. I overheard a worker saying they haven't been sharpened since the rink was opened.

Went during public skating and felt we had plenty of time. Limited reservations so book early. Good way to control overcrowding.

I’ve been to a lot, if not all of the rinks in the area. This rink gets five stars. I’d recommend this rink to anyone I coach or play with.

Attended opening weekend high school hockey tournament. Facility is topnotch. Great arena to watch a game. Set up for a semiprofessional team giving all who play here the feel of something special. Great add to the community. Staff is very helpful, concessions are plentiful. Parking is easy. Public skate during the tournament gives attendees something to do between games. ION is a self sufficient entertainment facility. Thank you for hosting. Great end to the high school hockey season.
