Very structured program. You will know exactly what techniques will be taught on which days. Instructors are laid back, humorous and experienced. School also concentrates on street self-defense BJJ which many competition/sport BJJ schools tend to lack.

Excellent instruction from a down to earth, no-frills, self-defense oriented school. Marco and The Basics family are incredibly inviting, and detail oriented. Amazing anti-bullying kids classes. A very friendly environment with no inflated egos to be found. A great place for any and all to learn the art from a very skilled Gracie black belt. Marco truly makes learning self defense attainable for all, staying true to the original design of BJJ; self-defense for the smaller, weaker, or less athletic practitioner. Cannot recommend this school highly enough.
